JAMMU, June 26: A man was killed today in a road accident in RS Pura area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, Dwarka Nath (55) son of Santram, resident of Badyal Brahmana (RS Pura) suffered grievous injuries when a cycle he was riding, was hit by a rashly driven motorcycle near his residence.
The injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem while a case in this connection was registered at police station RS Pura and investigation started.
