JAMMU, Apr 13: Nikon India, leaders in imaging technology, has geared to strengthen its retail outreach by opening its first COOLPIX zone in Jammu.
The people of Jammu will now have an easy accessibility to the entire Nikon’s COOLPIX range along with the select D-SLR range, Nikon 1 series, select array of NIKKOR lenses, Nikon accessories and Nikon Sport Optics range.
The zone was inaugurated today by Hiroshi Takashina, Managing Director, Nikon India and Sajjan Kumar, VP – Imaging Division, Nikon India.
The zone is located at Krishna Digital Color Lab, Shop-29, Municipal Market, Below Gumat, Jammu.
“With the inauguration of the first COOLPIX zone in Jammu, we aim to create a completely immersive experience for our consumers” said Hiroshi Takashina, Managing Director, Nikon India.
He added, “Nikon has always represented the best in class products, offering consumers an opportunity to experience the full benefits of technical know-how in a comfortable environment. These zones are the Nikon’s persistent approach for a greater customer engagement to reach out to all the people in Tier II and III markets with an aim to promote photography as a culture and also allow them a direct access to Nikon products.”
Sajjan Kumar, Vice President – Imaging Division, Nikon India, said “Northern part of India has always been a very good and progressive market for Nikon. We have witnessed significant growth here and to provide customers a great shopping experience we have launched the new COOLPIX zone in Jammu and with the new zone we are hopeful to increase our foothold in the region”.
The company has set up 110 COOLPIX and D-SLR zone in India so far in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata etc.
