JAMMU, Apr 13: ASCOMS Medical Teachers Association has threatened to suspend work and hold demonstrations if pending salary of the faculty is not released immediately.
A general body meeting of the Association was held, here today, under the chairmanship of its president Dr Rajesh Gupta for discussing the situation arising out of non-payment of salary to the faculty members for the last five months.
The meet passed a resolution asking the management to release the pending salary for the last five months. Some faculty members were of the opinion that work should be suspended completely to make the management aware of the grievance of the faculty members.
