JAMMU, Apr 13: Due to burning of garbage by Jammu Municipal Corporation near newly constructed Sulabh Complex, opposite Police Station, Trikuta Nagar, a number of BSNL local UG cables and optical fibre cables were burnt in the nallah.
According to a BSNL press release, major break down took place in the evening of April 12, 2013, and now the work has started on war footing for restoration of damaged cables. The optical fibre media will be restored within a day and landline connections in the affected Trikuta Nagar area will be restored within a week’s time.
Public Relation Officer, GMTD, BSNL, Jammu has regretted the inconvenience to be caused to the customers.
