BANIHAL, Apr 13: To took stock of developmental works in various department under different schemes in district Ramban, Minister of State for Technical Education, Power, CAPD and information Vikar Rasool Wani convened a meeting of District and Sectoral officers at Kaskoot in tehsil Banihal on Saturday.
Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Shyam Vinod Meena, Chief Medical Officer, DFO Banihal, XEn PWD and officers of various departments were attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Minister reviewed the ongoing development projects of various departments and directed the DDC to closely monitor completion of construction work of different roads which are under execution by the different agencies so that the people of the area take the benefit at the earliest.
Minister stressed upon the officers to speed up the execution of roads work and asked the officers to start construction work and Auditorium, New Bus stand Banihal, schools under RAMASA.
He asked the DDC to constitute a team of officers for the clearance of pending compensation cases of damages with coordination of Sarpanchs. Minister informed that the Danar, Chacknarwah, Takiya, Shagan road projects will start soon.
Mr. Vikar further directed the ICDS officers to constitute the frequent checking squads for providing nutrition in Anganwari centers and CDPO was asked to check the different centers three days in weak.
Earlier, Vikar Rasool dedicated augmentation of receiving station Banihal from 6.3 MVA to 10MVA. The Minister informed this augmentation benefited the 60 thousand population of the area.
