RAMBAN, June 30: A man was murdered in Gool area of Ramban district. However, acting swiftly, police arrested the accused.
According to SSP Ramban Haseeb-ur-Rehman, a man identified as Mohammad Arif (30), son of Abdul Aziz of Gool was stabbed by knife by another person identified as Mohammad Toufal, son of Abdullah of Gool over some issue.
“Mohammad Arif was seriously injured in the incident and was rushed to District Hospital Ramban, where doctors declared him as brought dead”, SSP said, adding that the accused has been arrested, who was servant of a man namely Manir Hussain of Gool District Ramban.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of District Hospital Ramban for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Gool Police Station and investigation started, SSP maintained.
