JAMMU, June 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized “Gift a Book’ programme on the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The programme was organized by Kulbhushan Mahotra Incharge Libraries and Documentation Department BJP along with Rekha Mahajan Secretary BJP J&K UT at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Nanak Nagar here.
Monika Khosla Mahila Morcha UT Vice President, Poonam Gupta IT Incharge, Indu Puri Protocol Incharge, Divya Jain District General Secretary, Principal of the institution Rita Popli, teachers and staff of the school were also present on the occasion.
While speaking Mahotra said, “We should gift books instead of other gift items. We should also read Motivational books or speeches that create a positive and optimistic impact in our life. Books boost our confidence and help in developing a positive outlook towards life. Books make you realize how powerful you can be in your life. Motivational books help you realize that failure is the first stepping stone to success”.
“Motivational books create a positive impact on your life and broaden your vision towards life. Motivational speakers and inspirational books help you to regain your faith in yourself. It helps you realize that hard work pays off and miracles do happen. If you have been working hard then these books may be able to give you a sigh of relief that something good will surely happen”, he added.
