LEH: The Union Territory of Ladakh recorded 17 fresh COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the tally in the twin districts of Leh and Kargil to 990, officials said.
However, the number of active cases in Ladakh dropped to 295 — 183 in Kargil and 112 in Leh — after 46 more patients were cured of the disease in Kargil and subsequently discharged, they said.
The 295 cases included 12 people, who tested positive on Wednesday. The new cases included 12 from Kargil and five from Leh, the officials said.
They said the condition of all the patients suffering from COVID-19 is “stable”. (AGENCIES)
