Pvt school teachers allege exploitation

JAMMU, July 1: J&K Private School Teachers Association, Jammu has accused the private schools of exploiting parents as well as the teachers on the pleas of financial deficit in their school budget.
In a meeting of the Association, held under the chairmanship of its president Vijay Dutta, the members alleged that some schools were not paying them salary for the Government holidays and also not adhering to the guidelines on PF deduction, SRO-259 etc.
Mr Dutta appealed the Lt Governor to constitute a board or trust to keep full record of fees being collected by the private schools and salary payment to the teachers.
