Students hold e-interactive session with Controller of Examination JU

JAMMU, July 3: The Students of Jammu Kashmir, a forum that came into being recently during COVID-19 Pandemic, today held an online interactive session with Professor Rajni Kant, Controller of Examination, University of Jammu (JU) and raised various issues pertaining to student community.
The session was hosted and co-ordinated by Mehul Rajput and his team of the Forum. This was the first online initiative taken by the students by the way of which they wanted their queries to be addressed.
Prof Rajni Kant while addressing hundreds of students, who joined through the online platform, presented an overview of the student life before and during COVID-19 Pandemic.
He conveyed them that the guidelines as received from Central agencies like Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, Indian Medical Association, Indian Dental Association, Bar Council of India from time to time have discussed the issues pertaining to examinations for Professional and Non- Professional Courses in a Committee on Examinations constituted by Prof Manoj K Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, JU.
Various issues were raised by the students from various universities of J&K including Jammu University, Cluster University Jammu, SMVDU, BGBSU, SKUAST, besides various colleges of Jammu Province like GDC Akhnoor, GDC Udhampur, GDC Kathua, GCET, YCET, and the same were addressed by Controller of Examination.
He assured the students that the University shall develop a strategic plan only after the final guidelines are received from the Central agencies.
