REASI, July 4: The district unit of Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh continued their protest for the 4th consecutive day for redressal of their long pending demands.
A large number of Safai Karamcharis gathered in the office of Municipal Committee Reasi and held protest in favour of their long pending demands.
They said higher authorities were not considering their long pending demands for which they had given notices to the Government and administration time and again.
Pinka Sandhu, President of Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh District Reasi, highlighted the long pending demands of Safai Karamcharis which include regularization of those who have completed 7 years of job, new recruitment, increase in the salary of temporary employees, in situ promotions etc.
He further informed that Safai Karamcharis will only do their morning shift job during this protest.
He warned that strike will be intensified from tomorrow if their demands are not redressed.
