JAMMU, July 6: Two cops of District Special Branch (DSB) Bari Brahmana were injured after a police team was attacked by suspected drug peddlers in Deoli area of Bishnah, here.
As per police sources, a team from DSB Bari Brahmana conducted raid in Deoli area of Bishnah to arrest the drug peddlers.
On seeing cops, the drug peddlers attacked the cops and escaped from the spot. In the incident, two cops received injuries.
One of the injured cops identified as SgCt of DSB Bari Brahmana Ganesh Dutt reported the incident to Bishnah Police Station.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 109/2020 under sections 307, 353, 341, 323 and 147 IPC has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and investigation started.
