SBSK distributes stationery items to students

JAMMU, Apr 14: On the occasion of Baisakhi, Sewa Bharti Sanskar Kendra (SBSK), Durga Mandir, Rampura (Shastri Nagar) distributed books, notebooks and other study materials to the poor and needy students.
Amit Magotra who was chief guest of the function announced to adopt one female student of the Kendra. Master Sukhdev Mishra, a prominent citizen of Rampura threw light on the importance of Baisakhi festival.
More than 60 students, who have been enrolled in this Sanskar Kendra, were given books, note books and other study materials for new classes. Besides, meritorious students were also felicitated by the Kendra.
Speaking on the occasion, Surat Singh, president of the Kendra said that they have been providing free of cost tuitions to more than 60 poor and needy students. It was result of the selfless services of the teachers of the Kendra that more than a dozen of its students have secured first three positions in their respective classes in their schools, he added.
