Concern over shortage of doctors in Kishtwar Hospital

KISHTWAR, Apr 14: Expressing grave concern over shortage of doctors in district Hospital Kishtwar Shamsher Singh Bhandari senior Congress leader has demanded that all the posts be filled up immediately as the patients are facing hardships and do not get the proper treatment due to shortage of doctors and para medical staff in Hospital.
He said 16 posts of assistant surgeons are lying vacant in the hospital as out of 20 sanctioned posts only four assistant surgeons were working at present. Besides though hospital has a sanctioned post of Dermatologist and Pathologist but both are unfilled and out of two posts of pediatricians only one is working in the hospital.
He said out of three sanctioned posts of Gynecologists only one is available. He demanded immediate posting of remaining doctors and sanctioning the post of ENT for the hospital. He said out of 10 sweepers only three are working.
