Malhotra inaugurates drainage system improvement project

JAMMU, Apr 14: Chairman Legislative Council Amrit Malhotra today inaugurated project for improvement of drainage system at Rajiv Colony, Ward No. 19, Bikram Chowk in the presence of large number of people.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Malhotra said that with the functioning of improvement drainage system in Rajiv Colony, the people in future will not face any problem during the rainy season. He said that Coalition Government is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people of the State.
The people also apprised the Chairman about their demands and grievances which includes early regularization of Rajiv Colony, upgradation of primary school, regular supply of drinking water, improvements of lanes and drains, etc.
Responding to the demands, Mr. Malhotra assured the people that all their genuine demands would be redressed at the earliest. He assured that the primary school in the colony would be upgraded very soon. He also assured for construction of new classrooms, other facilities in the school.
