SNS demands DGPC election

JAMMU, July 8: Sikh Naujwan Sabha (SNS) , Gurdwara Santpura Danna and Sikh Welfare Committee Nanak Nagar (Sec 7) has demanded early conduct of elections of District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committees (DGPCs) in J&K.
The offices bearers of SNS Danna and SWC Nanak Nagar in a press statement here today said that the present committees’ time has been expired and therefore, fresh elections of the DGPC be held without any more delay. If the Government feels it is not the opportune time for polls due to Covid -19, it should give extension to the existing committees for the betterment of the Sikh community.
The signatories to the statement included- Hardev Singh, Manjeet Singh, Daljeet Singh, Deedar Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Jagjit Singh and others.
