VIJAYPUR, July 8: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) senior leader, Manjit Singh today urged upon the government to stop the recruitment process till ground work for the issuance of reservation certificates for International Border (IB) residents is completed in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts.
In a handout Singh claimed that even the government is committed to the border residents but it has not identified villages and how much area falls under reservation criteria for the issuance of reservation to the IB residents.
He further said that the application forms are being filled by the aspirants for the vacant posts of banks, account assistants and fourth class vacancies while the revenue department has not completed the basic exercise of notifying the IB villages.
“So the filling of forms should be stopped till the aspirants get border residents certificates,” he maintained.
