SAMBA, July 9: A minor girl was kidnapped from Kala gate area of Bari Brahmana in district Samba today.
According to the official, one Kanta Devi, wife of Gudhari Lal resident of Ramkot, Billawar at present in Meen Sarkar, Barjani Talab area of Bari Brahmana in district Samba came in Bari Brahmana Police Station and stated that her daughter has been kidnapped by one Ashwani Katal ,son of Parkash Chand who is resident of Ramkot at present in Meen Sarkar, Bari Brahmana, when her daughter had gone to work in infra factory near Kala Gate Bari Brahmana. Police registered the FIR in this connection and started the further investigations.
SDPO, Bari Brahmana, Sunil Kesar said that the girl is minor and her age is15 years. He said in this connection a case FIR No 140/20 under Section 363 IPC was registered against the accused in Bari Brahmana Police Station and investigation taken up. The accused will be arrested soon as police has launched search operations.
