Plea of aspirants for lecturers’ posts in GMCs to PSC

KATHUA, July 10: The aspirants for various posts of lecturers different streams in GMC, Jammu and Srinagar seek redressal of their grievances as new PSC has now taken over.
Talking to reporters at Hiranagar today, Dr Aman and Dr Sanjeev said the State of J&K has been transformed into Union Territory and as perceived by many, may be for good too but dilemma of the aspirants for the various posts of lecturers in GMC, Jammu and Srinagar who have appeared for these posts in various disciplines of the coveted medical colleges of J&K i.e GMC Jammu and GMC Srinagar continued as till date their results were not declared.
They said they have appeared in the month of November 2019 in the interview before PSC and were confident of getting results in December 2019 but the agony of these doctors still continues.
Dr Aman Kumar said that ” We appeared in the interview conducted by JKPSC before November 18, 2019 but since PSC was dissolved on November 19, 2019, the result of candidates who appeared in the interview is still withheld. Now since the new JKPSC has been constituted the aspirants have made an appeal to its new Chairperson and members that their result be declared at the earliest, he said.
“Also we have given our representation to the advisors in the month of January this year and that time they rightfully assured us that all the results whose interviews have been conducted by previous PSC will be declared as soon as new PSC is formed”, he added.
