Shiv Sena demands withdrawal of Domicile Certificate

JAMMU, July 17: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K Unit today staged a protest demonstration against domicile certificate and demanded its withdrawal.
The protest was led by Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni who claimed that promise of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for better days and investment after abrogation of Article 370 from J&K is proving hollow.
He also said that under new employment policy of J&K, domicile certificate will affect the youth, especially those of Jammu division.
“Due to worst condition of Kashmir, most of the outsiders have settled in Jammu division,” he claimed adding that employment opportunities will be affected due to this thereby victimising the youth of Jammu.
However, he said that there is no objection to the domicile certificates to West Pakistan refuges and people of the Valmiki community.
Shiv Sena Women Wing President, Minakshi Chhibber; Executive President, Ashwini Gupta; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; Secretary, Raj Singh; Women Wing Vice President, Sofia Sago and others were also present in the protest demonstration.
