REASI, July 17: Reasi Police today registered FIRs against five shopkeepers of 4 business establishments for not closing down their shops beyond the permitted time in view of COVID-19 restrictions.
The action was taken by Reasi Police in Municipal and Rural area. During patrolling, Police party found that the erring shopkeepers were clearly violating the COVID-19 rules and the orders issued by District Magistrate Reasi.
The booked shopkeepers include Rahil Khan alias Kali, son of Mohammad Aslam of W.No. 02 Reasi, Deepu, son of Ram Chand of Karamjeetpur, Dwarka A/P Trintha, Reasi, Sanjeet Singh alias Sonu, son of Rajinder Singh of Nai Basti and Javid Mir alias Sonu, son of Late Abdul Rashid of Ward No. 07, Reasi (both partners) and Tilak Raj son of Govind Ram of W.No. 04, Sula, Reasi.
In this regard, case FIR number 76/2020, 77/2020, 78/2020 and 79/2020, respectively, under section 188/IPC have been registered at P/S Reasi against the erring shopkeepers.
Reasi Police has warned the shopkeepers/owners/customers to follow the guidelines strictly otherwise similar action shall be taken against them.
