These students have to submit the forms immediately but without Domicile Certificate they are not eligible for the same.
The Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner assured the delegation that such students will be issued the Domicile certificates on priority basis and issued instructions to officers to expedite the process of issuing the certificates to all such candidates in two days time. He said these students can meet him in person along with documents. Ram Krishen, Kuldeep Pandit, Mahraj Tickoo, Rakesh and Inder Bali accompanied the delegation.
Meanwhile, Kashmiri Pandits putting up at Delhi and other parts of country said that they were facing problems in filling up online forms for issuance of Domicile certificates as whosoever fills up on line particulars it bounces back and there is no system to refill the form after correction. These KPs said that they have been informed that they should get themselves registered in RCs office at Jammu first and then apply for the Domicile Certificates. But such forms are not available and the KPs putting outside J&K are waiting eagerly for the same. In an appeal they have urged the Relief Commissioner to put the notice on line for updating and they are relieved of the worries.
