The Synopsis of Head and Neck is a Text Book for Medical and Dental students. The book has been written by Dr Chanan Gupta an eminent teacher of medicine and Ex. Professor of Anatomy GMC, Jammu, ASCOMS Jammu and Professor & HoD, Institute of Dental Sciences Jammu.

A PhD in the field of Human Anatomy, from Lady Harding Medical College, University of Delhi, Prof Gupta has been playing a key role in formation of course curriculum for under graduate students for various colleges and universities throughout his teaching career spanning over four decades.
The author is highly passionate about teaching and has an out of box thoughts process to address the content formulations in a way that is easy for the students to understand and remember.
The Book was recently released at a simple but impressive function at Jammu. The function among others was attended by Justice (red) Sunil Hali, K B Jandial Ex Member PSC J&K, Dr R K Suri and Dr Sunanda Raina, Principal Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu. Besides an elite class of doctors, the prominent citizens were also present in the function.
