JAMMU, July 31: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) today inaugurated state-of-the-art, IT-enabled toilets in two Government schools as part of its Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) initiative.
The modern toilets are equipped with the latest facilities, aiming to provide a hygienic and comfortable environment for students. This project, valued at Rs 26.99 Lakhs.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Sanjeev Kumar Garg, Airport Director, Jammu; Jagdeep Kumar Padha, Chief Education Officer Jammu and other officials of AAI & J&K Govt.
“The installation of IT-enabled toilets in Government schools is a significant step towards creating a cleaner and healthier Environment for our future generations,” said Airport Director, S K Garg. “We are proud to contribute to the well-being of the community and look forward for implementing more such initiatives in the future,” he added.
The project is part of AAI’s ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on the environment and society. With this initiative, AAI aims to set a benchmark for corporate responsibility and encourage others to follow suit.
