JAMMU, Mar 23: Jammu and Kashmir chapter of the Indian Buildings Congress (IBC) met today and unanimously elected Aamir Ali as its Chairman. The meeting also saw the election of other key office bearers, reinforcing the leadership team dedicated to advancing the objectives of IBC in the region.
The newly elected office bearers include Rabinder Shekher, former Superintending Engineer, as vice chairman; Irfan Shafi Parrey as honorary secretary; Ankur Nanda as treasurer; Rafiq Ahmed Rafiq, former Chief Engineer, R&B Kashmir, as member; Ravinder Kumar, former Chief Engineer, as member; Bhushan Lal Rawal, former Superintending Engineer, as member; Tariq A Saraf, Executive Engineer, as member and Abdul Aziz Lone as member.
Expressing their gratitude for the trust placed in them, the newly elected members reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the J&K Chapter of IBC. They outlined their key priorities for the coming months, which include increasing the visibility and membership of the Chapter, organizing capacity-building programs, and initiating various projects to promote the objectives of the Indian Buildings Congress.
The meeting marked a significant step in bolstering professional engagement and knowledge-sharing within the construction and engineering community in J&K.
