AAP accuses BJP of pushing country towards dictatorship

JAMMU, June 13: A meeting of AAP workers & enthusiast was held here today in Party Office, Laxmipuram, Chinore, Jammu North, which was chaired by National Council Member S Deep Singh for discussing prevailing situation in the country.
During the meeting, various speakers alleged that BJP Government at the Centre was fast dragging the country towards “Hitler Shahi” and under such circumstances, democratic & constitutional institutions are being destroyed.
“Issuing an ill-conceived and unwanted ordinance to overrule the decision of 5-Member Constitutional Bench of Supreme Court is one of such acts of dictatorship in the country and attempt to drag the country towards Presidential form of Government which will be opposed by countrymen tooth & nail,” they said.
AAP leaders observed that debacle of BJP in Punjab, Himachal & Karnataka as well as in various Bi-elections including election to the Municipalities, has made the ruling saffron party desperate with the result they are threatening of dire consequences through ED & CBI.
The AAP leaders also expressed great shock over the treatment being meted out to the women wrestlers & the farmers of the country.
The meet unanimously resolved to strengthen the AAP up to grass root level & appraise the masses about the fake & misleading promises of BJP leaders simply for their electoral gains.
The meeting was attended by Maj Gen (Retd) Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Farooq Ahmed Banday, Ram Singh Chauhan, Nirmal Mahna, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, S Ravinder Singh (Sarpanch), Amit Langer, Agya Kour, Romesh Lal Bhagat, S Ranjodh Singh, Sukhdev Kumar Sangral, Sandeep Singh Parihar, Om Parkash Sharma Akhnoor, Pardeep Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Harsh Dev Singh and others.
