JAMMU, Aug 25: Aam Aadmi Party today announced the first list of its candidates and also star campaigners for the Jammu Kashmir Assembly elections.
The announced candidates include Fayaz Ahmad Sofi from Pulwama, Muddasir Hassan from Rajpora, Sheikh Fida Hussain from Devsar, Mohsin Shafkat Mir from Dooru, Mehraj Din Malik from Doda, Yasir Shafi Matto from Doda-West and Mudassir Azmat Mir from Banihal.
Furthermore, the list of star campaigner, comprising of forty names, was submitted by AAP to the Secretary, Election Commission of India, New Delhi.
Besides Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his wife Sunita Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Manish Sisodia and other national leaders of the party, Aam Aadmi Party’s star campaigners from J&K include Advocate Appu Singh, Om Parkash Khajuria, Surinder Singh Shingari, Col Somraj Sharma, Deeba Khan, Mumtaz Nazir Bhat, Er Harpreet Singh, Raman Sharma and others.
