JAMMU, Aug 23: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today once again challenged Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leaders for an open debate on illegal act of its leaders of encroaching Government accommodations in Jammu and resorting to daylight loot of Government exchequer.
Addressing a press conference, AAP senior leader Gagan Partap said, “Three days ago, a protest was held by AAP headed by former Minister Harsh Dev Singh in which party exposed illegal act of former legislators and former ministers of BJP including former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta who are living in Government’s official accommodations even after four years of leaving office.”
Gagan said after that protest, Kavinder Gupta leveled baseless allegations against Harsh Dev Singh. He said BJP is resorting to a technique of using words like anti-national, anti-social, frustrated for every logical voice exposing their illegal acts, loot and misdeeds and this is an attempt of BJP to divert attention of people from their illegal approach and continue loot of Government exchequer.
“We once again challenge entire BJP and its leaders in Jammu for an open debate on the issue and BJP should itself select place, time and date for debate and all BJP leaders can take part in this debate against Harsh Dev Singh of AAP who will be lone against all BJP leaders,” Gagan said, adding, there is an open loot of Government exchequer by BJP leaders who are enjoying stay in Government accommodations in clear violation of norms.
The AAP leader further hinted towards another scam namely ‘PSO Scam’ in Jammu and Kashmir adding that even small workers of BJP have been allotted PSOs for no justification, putting a severe burden on Government exchequer.
