AAP condemns attack on its Sarpanch

JAMMU, Sept 13: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has condemned the attack on its Sarpanch in Nowshera, Rajouri by some miscreants.
Addressing a press conference here today Om Parkash Khajuria, AAP convener Jammu Province claimed the attack on Ramesh Chaudhary, Sarpanch and AAP In-charge Rajouri reflects disturbed mental state of some political activists due to the growing popularity of AAP in the area.
He urged upon J&K LG, Manoj Sinha to constitute a special investigating team to probe the whole incident.
“Any delaying tactic in this regard shall force AAP to come on roads across J&K for which the Government will be responsible,” the AAP leader maintained demanding security for Ramesh Chaudhary.
Khajuria further claimed that such attacks on AAP enthusiasts will not deter them from their fight against corruption and sky racketing prices of essential commodities.
Wing Commander, Mahesh Chander Sudan (Retd), Coordinator; Farooq Ahmed Banday, Co-convener; Kuldeep Kumar Rao, Media In-charge; Amit Kapoor, president Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency; Rajni Jamwal, woman wing president Jammu Province and Parmveer Singh, senior AAP leader were also present in the press conference.
