SRINAGAR, Feb 17: As Aam Aadmi Party in Jammu and Kashmir continues series of protest demonstrations against the anti- encroachment drive of Government, the party leader Er Nazir Ahmed Yatoo is observing indefinite hunger strike against this drive.
Aam Aadmi Party alleged that this anti encroachment drive was aimed to target poor people only leaving them harassed and getting crunched in the hands of BJP. Government claimed to have kept this drive impartial and unbiased but this is just a fake claim with poor people being targeted, said AAP.
“BJP leaders are also immune to this drive with no action has been taken even though a number of BJP leaders have encroached state lands and have also raised their illegal constructions over these pieces of lands,” said the AAP leaders, while talking to media persons.
They alleged that the anti encroachment drive of Jammu and Kashmir Government was nothing but a way to harass people and to impose dictatorial policies of BJP on them. They said that despite LG’s assurance, notices are being served to poor people who are living a life in fear.
