JAMMU, Feb 8: A delegation of AAP led by Om Prakash Khajuria, convener AAP Jammu province met Divisional Commissioner Jammu and submitted him a memorandum demanding nullification of notification to cease compensation for displaced people of PoJK and Chhamb.
The delegation said that over 10,000 families of displaced people of PoJK 1947 and Chhamb 1965 and 1971 are yet to get compensation.
The delegation comprised Maj. Gen. Rajinder Singh Jamwal (Retd); Wg. Cdr. Mahesh Chander Sudan (Retd), Coordinator Jammu Province; Raj Kumar Nischal, secretary; Kuldeep Kumar Rao, Media Incharge; Jayesh Gupta, IT Cell Jammu; S. Amrik Singh, senior AAP leader; Dr. Rajinder Thappa, In-charge Health; S. Sansar Singh, youth president Jammu central; S. Parvinder Singh, youth president district south; Tilak Raj Gupta, president Jammu West; Rohan Bedi, Sangathan Mantri Raipur Domana; N.P Singh, Sangathan Mantri Suchetgarh and Shabir Ahmed Mir, in-charge Baniyal Constituency.
