JAMMU, Aug 3: Aam Aadmi Party Spokesman, Partap Singh Jamwal today demanded immediate release of payment of works executed in Panchayats under MG-NREGA
Talking to media persons, here today, he alleged that payments of Panchayat works for 2016-17, 2017-18 were not released by the Rural Development Department by alleging violations in the works but no action has been taken against concerned officials for approving the same works.
“If developmental works were not existing on ground then how come the concerned Government officials approved the same. Instead of taking action against the officials, the Government stopped payment of unemployed youth who had executed the works” he said.
The AAP leader demand high level enquiry into the matter so that actual execution of these works is ascertained and action is initiated against officers involved in the case if there is misappropriation of funds.
