JAMMU, Jan 7: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) vice president Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Rajesh Gupta has alleged that Jammu is facing worst kind of power crisis in the ongoing winter season with continuous unscheduled power cuts.
In a party meeting here today Gupta said that Power Development Department (PDD) has miserably failed to provide adequate supply of electricity to consumers even in fully metered areas due to which the public is made to suffer in the harsh winter season.
“Ineffectiveness of PDD officials and field staff can be gauged from the fact that they roam in streets and disconnect power connections,” he claimed adding, while the public is suffering, PDD employees are facing an uncertain future.
