JAMMU, June 5: Vice President Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) JPPC, Rajesh Gupta has said that AAP is gearing up for a significant entry into J&K through Assembly polls which are likely later this year.
He was speaking at a joining programme in Hiranagar border organized by Kannav Khajuria.
Gupta said that AAP is likely to upset BJP in Jammu region.
“We don’t know how to play politics but we know how to build hospitals and schools. We did it in New Delhi and around 35,000 employees were regularized in Punjab by AAP government in one day and we have over 60,000 workers who are not getting regularized in J&K,” he said.
The function was presided over by District AAP president Kathua, Hira Lal Verma while those present on the occasion were Rajesh Gupta, vice president and Reena Choudhry, Sarpanch.
Rajesh Gupta said expressed hope that after success of AAP in Punjab, it may get good response in Jammu and Kashmir.
“We plan to rope-in vocal and educated youth and avoid established leaders to hijack the Party,” he maintained.
