AAP leader expresses concern over erratic power supply

JAMMU, Apr 25: Social activist and AAP leader Gurmeet Singh Baaghi today expressed concern over the erratic power supply in Jammu saying the people of Jammu are facing hardships due to the unscheduled and pesky power cuts.
“It seems that we are living in a tribal area where the electricity has just reached. It is the first time that the Jammu region is experiencing unprecedented unscheduled and pesky power cuts in April,” he said, adding that it was very unfortunate that despite having huge potential to generate copious amounts of electricity, Jammu and Kashmir has to face the worst power crises often.
Claiming that this is happening because there is no elected Government and no one is listening to the people in general, the AAP leader demanded that elections must be held as early as possible in J&K to restore the lost confidence of the people.
Baaghi said that J&K should follow the Kejriwal model of governance and provide electricity supply to the people of Jammu and Kashmir like Delhi and Punjab.
