JAMMU, Sept 9: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) vice-president Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency Rajesh Gupta today pledged to eradicate discrimination with Jammu region.
Addressing a party meeting here today, Rajesh Gupta said that BJP leadership has failed on all fronts in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that claims of BJP of ushering a new dawn post Article 370 abrogation, has proved to be a farce.
“The development inertia, crashing economy, inflation, soaring unemployment, resentment among farmers and border dwellers, etc has made the situation in J&K from bad to worse,” he said and flayed the BJP led Government in the Centre for its failure to perform effectively during Corona pandemic.
Gupta said that petrol, diesel and LPG have become dearer and as a result prices of other essentials have also soared. He accused the BJP Government for selling national assets, for inflation and other issues. He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was only committed to the welfare of his “crony friends”. He said that the Government is keeping the interest of the countrymen at a bay.
Other leaders including Mehar Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Rajesh Bali attended the meeting.
