NEW DELHI : After more than a week of playing “yes or no” game over the issue of Government formation in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal today said his party was ready to form a Government in the city with the support of the Congress.
With the AAP set to stake claim to form Government, Mr Kejriwal is likely to be the next Chief Minister of Delhi.
Mr Kejriwal announced that he will meet Lt Governor Najeeb Jung after the noon and hand over a letter of the party regarding Government formation.
The Congress, which managed only eight seats in the Assembly election, has extended outside support to AAP, which got 28 seats in the 70-member House. The BJP, the single largest party with 31 seats, has already declined to form Government. (AGENCIES)
