JAMMU, Oct 24: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today staged a protest near Press Club Jammu against the alleged mismanagement and bungling in MG-NREGA scheme in Inderwal Constituency of Kishtwar district.
A large number of volunteers of AAP participated in the protest which was led by Gagandeep Singh and Shadi Lal.
While speaking on the occasion, Advocate Sanjeev Sareen, Member, Legal Cell of AAP, said that a large scale bungling, corruption and mismanagement is seen by common masses of Inderwal Assembly constituency in Central Government’s MG-NREGA scheme.
He alleged that the poor people of the Inderwal constituency have not been paid their wages for various works carried out under MG-NREGA scheme even after one to two years of completion of these works. He further alleged that only selective persons are being paid under the scheme leaving aside the BPL and other poor families.
Sareen said that in the times to come the PDP and BJP will see the power of common masses when they will throw their coalition out of the power in the State.
