AAP’s concern over shortage of doctors in SDH Marh

JAMMU, Feb 22: Dr Rajinder Thappa, in charge Health Wing, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu province has expressed concern over acute shortage of doctors in Sub District Hospital (SDH) Marh.
Dr Thappa, who along with Virji Kachroo president of Kashmiri Pandit Minority Cell visited SDH Marh today and found that there was acute shortage of specialists as no Surgeon, Eye’ Specialist, Orthopedic, Radiologist, Physician specialist are posted there when the hospital has to cover a huge area.
He said the patients and people of the area told him that Radiologist for ultrasound comes once in a week on every Saturday and building of the hospital require to be shifted to new building as lot of leakage of water seeps in almost all sections of hospital. Dr Rajinder Thappa appealed higher authorities to pay attention towards improvement of services in the Hospital by deployment of required specialist doctors , so that poor patients of the area can be taken care at local level.
