JAMMU, Aug 13: A delegation of Accounts Assistants Panchayat Union (AAPU) here today met MP Rajya Sabha, Gulam Ali Khatana and presented him a memorandum highlighted the concerns of AAPU.
The delegation emphasized on the need for equitable and structured pathways for career advancement and discussed the challenges inhibiting the professional growth of Accounts Assistants in J&K with the MP. They shared the collective aspirations of Accounts Assistants, who play a pivotal role in maintaining financial transparency and accountability within Panchayat Raj system.
Accounts Assistants stressed on the need for clearly defined career paths at par with Accounts Assistants of Finance Department with opportunities for skill enhancement and vertical mobility.
Khatana assured the delegation to address the issues raised in the memorandum and promised to bring the issues into the notice of relevant authorities for reforms.
