Two day long District Karate C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Apr 29: Two day long District Karate Championship organised by Shito Ryu Seiko Kai Karate Do Association J&K at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Amphalla concluded today, in which hundreds of karatekas participated enthusiastically.
On the concluding day, Anil Gupta, vice president, All India Karate Do Federation (AIKF) was the chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners in presence of KC Mehta, Principal, Army Public School, Akhnoor, Colonel Rampal, Col Education, Akhnoor, Ambedkar Gupta, president, Shito Ryu Seiko Kai Karate Do J&K and other members of the association.
The matches were officiated by Sanjay Kumar, organizing secretary, Shaveta Gupta, Abhishek Sharma, Sahil Singh and Tarun Sharma.

In below 6 years, Aashwarya Gupta bagged first position.
In below 8 years, Suhani Jakotra, Bhumika Choudhary and Vanshika Sharma secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In below 9 years, first position was secured by Palak Dhiman while the second position was conferred to Monika Mehra. The third position was shared by Sania and Anju Koul.
In below 10 years, Ishita Raina and Bhumika Jamwal secured first and second positions respectively while the third position was shared by Fiza Khan and Sonia Sharma.
In below 11 years, Manisha Kumari and Pratima Dhawan secured first and second positions respectively while the third positions were conferred to Harshita Sharma and Tanvisha Sharma.
In below 12 years, Vanshika Manhas, Shivya Chopra and Charu Devi claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In below 13 years, Aditi Sharma, Muskan Sharma and Vanshika Bhadwal secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In 14-15 years, Aarushi Sharma and Amrita Katoch claimed first and second positions respectively.

In below 10 years Pool A, Sparsh Bhat and Sahil claimed first and second positions respectively while the third position was secured by Vinayak Sharma and Mohd Masood.
In below 10 years Pool B, Anjan Chopra and Naman claimed first and second positions respectively while the third rank was shared by Parminder Singh and Rakshit Sharma.
In below 11years, Arya Dev Singh and Naresh Singh secured first and second positions respectively while the third positions was secured by Praval Pratap Singh and Prakhar Jyoti.
