AASRA appeals DC to open two wheelers repairing shops

JAMMU, May 14: All Auto Spares and Repairs Association (AASRA) today appealed the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu to open all the two wheelers and three wheelers repairing shops in the Jammu city.
While addressing the media persons, Bishamber Dass, president of the Association along with other members have appealed the District Administration to consider these shops under the essential services.
Dass further said that most of the frontline workers such as policemen, doctors, paramedical staff and even the journalists were mostly dependent on the two wheelers services since the lockdown came into force while the three wheelers (Auto) are being used to transport essential goods like vegetables, fruits, milk but due to closer of these shops here, they are facing hardships to repair and maintain their vehicles.
They requested the administration to look into the matter and provide permission to open these shops in the jurisdiction of Jammu. They also assured the District Administration that the members the Association to follow all the COVID-19 guidelines and maintain social distancing while repairing the vehicles.
