JAMMU, July 5: The 6th Amarnath Yatra Bhandara calendar of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti (ABDPSS) was released during a simple but impressive function held here today. Mahamandleshwar Swami Dutt Giri president Khadhdarshan Sadhu Samaj was the chief guest on the occasion while Mahant Narinder Dass Maharaj of Panch Ramanandi Nirwani Akhara Sidh Shri Hanuman Dham, Mahant Sitaram Dass, Mahant Anirudh Dass, Mahant Gopalanand, Bhagwat Kathakar Kapildevacharya and Mahant Prakash Nand were the guests of honour.
The function started at with Vedic mantras which was followed by sermons from Dutt Giri Ji Maharaj. While releasing the calendar Dutt Giri Maharaj appreciated the efforts of the Samiti for arranging meals for the yatris coming from different parts of the country for such a long time with fruits and sweets on the directions and teachings of Bhrahmgyani Guruji.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Narinder Dass Maharaj of Panch Ramanandi Nirwani Akhara expressed that such events helps creating a sense of responsibility amongst children towards their society.
All the saints hailed the idea of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti for arranging Bhandara for the Amarnath Yatries and release of calendar is really a great step towards the service of yatries.
The national coordinator of the Samiti Sunil Sharma, informed that “Dogra culture has the philosophy of “Athithi Devo Bhava” ( the guest is the God) and such efforts by the Samiti will go a long way in forging unity and the spirit of social service in the society.” Sunil Shama further informed that Amarnath yatra Bhandara commences from 30th June, 2022 and will continue till the end of the yatra. Samiti will provide pure healthy meals three times a day to pilgrims with special arrangements during fast days for devotees.
Among others present were Ajay Kumar, Khili Vrindavan, Parshotam Sharma etc.
