Abducted girl, minor child recovered

JAMMU, Oct 8: Satwari and Bahu Fort Police recovered the abducted girl and a minor child.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Satwari by a man stating therein that his daughter has been kidnapped by a person namely Sunil Kumar, son of Ram Parshad of Nepal, at present Gangyal when she had gone to Agriculture University in Chatha.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 166/2022 under section 366 IPC was registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Sameer Jiilani and assisted by Incharge Police Post Chatha PSI Harjinder Pal Singh under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma was constituted.
The team did strenuous efforts and with the help of various technical aids and analysis of CDR location finally rescued the kidnapped girl from New Delhi. A hunt is going on to nab the abductor.
Meanwhile, a complaint was lodged by a family with Police Station Bahu Fort stating that their one and half year old minor girl has been kidnapped by someone from their home.
On this, a case FIR Number 252/2022 under section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
To rescue the kidnapped minor girl, a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari was constituted, which after putting in sincere efforts finally recovered the kidnapped girl Railway Station Jalandhar, Punjab.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
