RAJOURI, Apr 14: Police recovered a minor abducted girl and arrested the accused.
As per sources, family members of a 15-year-old girl from Thandikassi lodged a written complain before police that their girl has been abducted yesterday evening.
Acting on the complaint, a case under Section 363 and 109 RPC was registered at police station Rajouri and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from city police post led by SI Jahanger Ahmed and Reyaz-ul-Haq under the supervision of SSP Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal conducted a raid in Morha Barchai of Surankote and recovered the abducted girl from spot.
Police also arrested the accused who has been identified as Amanullah Khan, son of Nasirullah Khan, a resident of Surankote, Morha Barchai.
The girl was restored to family members after conducting medical examination.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
