JAMMU, May 29: Domana Police rescued abducted minor girl and arrested the accused within 10 hours.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged today by a man with Police Station Domana stating that her 16-year-old daughter has been kidnapped from his residence by Ayush Sharma, son of Anil Sharma, a resident of Sarwal District Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 143/2021 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and search was started.
A team from Domana Police Station acting swiftly rescued the minor girl from the clutches of the accused person within 10 hours. The girl has been handed over to the family members and the accused person namely Ayush Sharma has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
The entire operation was led by SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
