Abdullahs, Muftis dance to the tune of Pakistan, ISI: Chugh

JAMMU, May 3: Tarun Chugh, the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticized the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the National Conference (NC), alleging that their leaders are always influenced by Pakistan and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Chugh also accused PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti of undermining the development works carried out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
He claimed that since the Jammu and Kashmir has been returning to normalcy under the Modi Government, Mufti has been making divisive statements.
He also accused NC patron Dr Farooq Abdullah of dividing people on the basis of religion and region.
He urged both Muftis and Abdullahs to stop playing into the hands of Pakistan and China and let the people of Jammu and Kashmir experience peace.
Chugh noted that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir now want computers instead of stones in their hands.
He added that the entire culture of Jammu and Kashmir has changed from terrorism to tourism and trade, which has made Abdullahs and Muftis uncomfortable.
Chugh also responded to Farooq Abdullah’s statement about not holding the G20 meeting in Jammu, saying that Srinagar is as much a part of the nation as Shimla.
He criticized Abdullah for allegedly parroting what Pakistan and China have asked him to say, and expressed his desire for Srinagar to host the G20 meeting.
