REASI, Mar 22: Abhinaya Kala Manch Reasi staged Nukkad Natak “Zinda Mout” at various locations of district Reasi.
The street play, written and directed by Shadab Khan, was staged under the series of Nuked Festival, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Jammu.
The artist who acted in the play, included Anjali Anand, Preetam Kumar, Tarsem Kumar, Aasim Bhat, Nitika Suri, Satyam Sharma, Nidhi, Shubam, Anamika Verma, Muskan Bhat and Mitali.
The play depicts how consuming of alcohol and drugs which are being smuggled into the country, are destroying the health of the youngsters.
On the occasion, Neeraj Padyar, Dy SP Reasi, was the chief guest while Raj Rahee, Sahitya Akademi Awardee, was the guest of honour. Vijay Sharma, SHO Reasi, Imtiaz Ahmed Wani, Nitan Mukesh were also present. Large number of youth, local and senior citizens witnessed the plays. The actors generated awareness among people against drug addiction.
The chief guest appreciated the artists who staged the wonderful performance and also appreciated the efforts made by the Abhinaya Kala Manch and J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages for giving opportunity to the Reasi Theatre group to stage such a play which is a lesson for all the youngsters. The play was highly appreciated by the audience .
The play staged at Bus Stand Reasi, Ganesh Mandir Main Bazar Reasi, Zanana Park Reasi, Nai Basti Chowk Reasi, View Point, Beham Ghar Fort Reasi and Ram Leela Ground Park Reasi.
