JAMMU, June 1: Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM) has expressed deep concern over the worsening condition of hospitals and poor medical services in the state of J&K.
The issue was discussed threadbare during a meeting of ABHM held here today under the leadership of Chetan Sharma, State convener of the Mahasabha and Seema Mahajan, president, Women Wing of ABHM.
The speakers alleged that there is acute shortage of doctors in the Primary Health Centres, Sub District Hospitals and District Hospitals while only three ventilators are functional in the Medical College Jammu and this facility becomes available only on recommendations. Besides, they said that a very expensive Platelet machine, purchased sometime back, is lying unutilized.
Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha pledged to launch a massive crusade against the inattentive approach of the existing Government towards the suffering community and to safeguard the system of medical attention in the State.
