JAMMU, Apr 5:  Alleging that special status to J&K helps only ruling class and not to the general public, the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) has strongly opposed it and demanded to abolish it. The Manch also criticized the political parties or social groups and some sections of media for sowing hate seeds in the brain of nationalist people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference here at press Club, MRM leaders including Mohd Afzal, National convenor, Gulam Ali, National Executive Member and incharge, HP, J&K and Punjab and Nazir Ahmed Mir, convenor, J&K, opposed the Interlocutors’ report, alleging that it promotes antinational elements and ignore many sections of the society in various regions of the State.
The MRM leaders also raised their voice for vacating of PoK and CoK from the occupation of Pakistan and China, respectively, adding the issue needs immediate attention.
